Lab Rats - 'Science Club'
The Lab Rats 'Science Club' was a digital companion app designed to facilitate and enhance our After-School Science Programme, aiming to enhance autonomy, engagement, and progress tracking for children aged 7-11.
Navigating Challenges:
Beginning with thorough user interviews, we identified obstacles faced by young participants. Crafting a user persona and problem statement, we aimed to develop an app empowering students with autonomy and effective progress tracking.
Revolutionising Experience:
Through sturctured brainstorming sessions, we devised innovative features such as 'Personalised Learning Paths' and 'Progress Tracking and Goal Setting'. Iterative refinement via scenarios and usability tests ensured a user-centric design.
The 'Science Club' app saw 20% more tasks completed and earned a consistent 95% satisfaction rate from Lab Rats students.
